“Derek is a one of the most resourceful programmers I have ever worked with. I make him apart of every game feature, and team that I work on. He gets the job done, no matter the hurdles, if it be lack of assets or vague design I can count on him. He is always consulted on our first draft designs, because his technical expertise helps us to see how the different parts of the design will come together to form the game feature we are trying to accomplish. This is invaluable as it saves me large amounts of time towards the end of the project so I don’t have to retro fit or redesign parts. He is also my go to guy for rapid advanced prototyping. The difference that he makes is between a paper design and me having to explain what I’m trying to convey to the team, or letting him lead a team for 3 days and being able to say here play this and see what you think. His work ethic is tremendous, always willing to help, and he keeps current on the trends and discoveries in his field. Overall an outstanding worker and great guy.”
